Microblading

Microblading (3D Eyebrow)

Between « micro » (very thin) and « blade », the name is easy to understand. This is a pigmentation technique that gives very fine lines, reproducing the implantation of real hair. Intended primarily for women who are unhappy with their natural implantation, but also for those whose eyebrows have been damaged, either by disease or by a scar, microblading is a very satisfactory solution, because it allows not to completely replace the eyebrow, but to correct it in density and form. This eliminates only hairs that do not match the desired curve.

The sterile bevel blade consists of several very thin needles, which are inserted manually into the skin, with gentle and progressive pressure. From this first manipulation, we can check the curve obtained, as the practitioner dips the blade in the pigment and draw, as with a pencil, the missing hairs. Once the operation is complete, a highly pigmented color is applied to the skin and left to rest for 5 to 10 minutes. For an even more natural effect, the practitioner can work with two different shades of pigments.

Care

Care begins with a pencil drawing of the future shape of the eyebrow, before moving to the stage of the blade. The session can last from 60 to 90 minutes. The day after the treatment, the client will have to apply a cleansing milk every two hours, then a care cream to prevent the formation of crusts. Thereafter, it will be sufficient to apply the cream two to three times a day, until the complete healing of the eyebrow. The touch-up, 4-6 weeks later, is an essential step. Some people might require several touch-ups. During this phase, it is not a question of widening the lines, but of refreshing the color and intensifying it.

Contraindications and scarring

Microblading is not indicated for people with diabetes, using anticoagulant medications, allergy, having a history of keloids, pregnant, nursing women or who have difficulty healing.
